Movement
Movement is a theme of geography that refers to the way people, goods, and ideas travel. An example of movement would be e-mails and talking on the phone. E-mails can travel across continents in seconds so ideas can travel rapidly. The phone is also a great way for ideas to travel, but of course you are speaking verbally. When it comes to people or goods, you can't send them in an e-mail. People and goods travel in planes, trains, cars, and trucks. Not as fast as e-mail and phone but it gets them to different places to spread people and/or products.
